Social Sunday: The Wedding we were all curious about: Chelsea Clinton

Isn't it interesting when well known people try to avoid the spotlight..how much more curious we are about their lives?

So we knew that Chelsea was getting married in the near feature when she announced her engagement late last year.  But she and the rest of her "camp" were mum on the details  and no one outside her immediate circle was even sure who was designing her dress... at least not until she was spotting going into Vera Wang...

But the wait is over and Chelsea did indeed marry her longtime beau Marc Mezvinsky in an interfaith wedding ceremony at the Astor Courts Estate on July 31, 2010 in Rhinebeck, New York.

The bride was wearing Vera Wang and a beautiful smile. Her look was very traditional, hair in an elegant updo and an A-line strapless gown.  Chelsea even upheld a bridal custom that isn't so common anymore, wearing full veil that covered her face as she walked down the aisle.

Chelsea, we watched you grow up and handle being in the spotlight with grace.  Thanks for sharing your wedding pictures with the world...

Fashiona in Vera Wang's Lavender Label & Vaseline Sheer Infusion

Fashiona enjoyed her first black tie of the season last night held in Buckhead wearing Lavender Label Vera Wang.  The dress she intended to wear, lovely grey and black tea length dress was no match for her new svelte figure supplied by her infamous stress and worry diet and her two cardio intensive jobs.

Embellishments are very in this holiday season  from sequins to crystals on everything from heels to dresses to handbags.  Fashiona's  silver grey dress featured a  black belt with several large crystals attached.  No necklace was needed but she did accent her look with a chunky blinged out bracelet.  Her silver shoes  also had very fine sparkling stones across the straps.

The relatively mild Atlanta evening, remember she is used to New York Autumns,  was great for showing a bit of skin...okay a lot since she wound up wearing a strapless dress.   Showing skin means lots of lotion and lately she had been using Vaseline Sheer Infusion...Botanical Blend is her favorite.  The scent is light and doesn't compete with her perfume collection...something was she grateful when she met her "Mr. Big" for a drink after the event.

When it was all over....she took off the trappings of the long day with Pond's Wet Cleaning Towelettes...leaving her sensitive,  temperamental complexion  in tip top shape for her next evening out.

Fashiona on Ivanka Trump's Wedding

So Fashiona's Pocahontas outfit has to wait until next year...after two hectic days at the boutique  and a sketchy lunch Fashiona had to crash her Sis's and recover.

Earlier this week when Fashiona heard that Ivanka got  married...she was skeptical.  After all  half the martial news about celebrities is just rumor...like Nicole Richie's supposed nuptials!!

But turns out Ivanka's wedding was for real and really very classy.

 Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump

Fashiona has always liked Ivanka for her work ethic and elegance.  True,  she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth but she has certainly gone platinum. Not content to bank on her famous name, good looks or  inheritance; she graduated from Wharton School of Business.  Yes she is a newly minted VP in  her dad's (the Donald) enterprise ,but she also has a self titled  super fab jewelry collection:

Inspired by fashion icon Grace Kelly's  1956 wedding dress, Ivanka and Vera Wang,  created  THE perfect couture wedding. The hand made lace gown with sleeves is sure set to a good trend among the near future brides.
