Ivanka Trump shines at the Met Costume Institute Gala 2010

Ivanka Trump is one of Fashiona's favorite people to follow on Twitter.  One day she will share her frustration about the neverending lines at DMV, another day she will tweet lovely pictures from Dubai and yet another day she will live tweet while Celebrity Apprentice is on but she never spoils the ending for her west coast friends...how sweet of her!

Last night Ivanka tweeted as she was getting ready for the Met Costume Institute Gala 2010 that she was  wearing Versace and jewelry from her own line.

And  she indeed wore the purple slinky gown well...

Jessica Simpson's Denim Line

Say what you will about Jessica's beleaguered love life or her for the moment lackluster singing career (Fashiona is predicting a musical comeback), the girl has turned her image into a brand.   She has a notable flair to her style with the big bags, platforms, dainty heels, cowboy boots and lots and lots of denim.  Fashiona's own closet features several pair of her shoes and her handbag of the moment is a vintage looking red bag that Sis gave her for Christmas...thanks Sis.


As Ms. Simpson told WWD,

"Because I live in denim, the fit is most important  and a girl's booty needs to look good."

Now for the details, she  has partnered with Jones Apparel, a company with years of denim experience.  Fit wise, styles  will include boot-cut, flare, skinny, straight and much to Fashiona's chigrin....jeggings.  
The launch is scheduled for mid-July. Aside from the jeggings...Fashiona will be awaiting the line debut come mid July.

Fashiona wishes Jessica and her new venture the best of the luck and hopes that Ms. Simpson will join the ranks of the heavy hitters like Ivanka Trump who just recently announced that she is partnering with Marc Fisher for  a shoe line...THAT post is coming soon...
